If you like Archaeology, you should know about Bruce Trigger.
Bruce Graham Trigger was born in Preston, Ontario in June 18th of 1937. He was a Canadian archaeologist, anthropologist and ethnohistorian. He studied in Yale University. In 1964, he graduated as a Doctor. He made classes in Northwestern University in 1965 and then got in the Anthropology Deparment of McGill University of Montreal, where he past the rest of his life. He died of Cancer in December 1st of 2006.
He wrote a lot of books about his research work in ethnohistory, archaeology history and archaeology theories. One of  the books that I like is "A History of Archaeological Thought".
In this book, he wrote about the progress of the archaeology during our history and the different methods than the archaeologist used to hold.
He was named an Officer of the National Order of Quebec and Officer of the Order of Canada. He was a Royal Society of Canada member, won their Innis-Gérin Medal and the Prix Léon-Gérin of Quebec's Government.
I like him because he did an important contribution to the archaeology and his books are very interesting.
